These Terms and Conditions govern your use of US Stock Scanner (“Service”), operated by Jonathan Adrian (“I”, “me”, or “my”). Contact me at johnad93722@gmail.com.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

US Stock Scanner provides tools for studying US equities, including stock screening, technical indicators, automated scores, AI-generated research, watchlists, historical backtesting, strategy simulations, and outcome tracking.

Features and access may vary according to account status, verification, usage limits, data licensing, and availability.

2. Educational use and investment risk

The Service is provided for education, research, and study. Its content is not personalised investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security.

The Service does not assess your financial circumstances, investment objectives, experience, or tolerance for risk. Using it does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship.

Scores, rankings, research summaries, reference levels, and simulated results should not be treated as instructions to trade. You are responsible for independently checking information and deciding whether an investment is appropriate for you.

Investing involves risk, including the loss of your entire investment. Consult a qualified financial adviser when appropriate.

3. Data, AI outputs, and simulated performance

Market data and other information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Coverage and freshness depend on my sources and configuration.

AI-generated content may contain factual errors, unsupported statements, outdated information, or incorrect interpretations. A confidence label or published report does not guarantee accuracy.

Backtests and strategy simulations are hypothetical. They depend on historical data, assumptions, and modelling choices and may not reflect actual execution, liquidity, transaction costs, slippage, or changing market conditions.

Past performance, historical outcomes, scanner scores, and simulated returns do not guarantee future results.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms to create an account.

Provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify me promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must not share an account to bypass access restrictions or usage limits.

Certain features require a verified email address. Registration may be open, invitation-only, or unavailable.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes.
  • Attempt to access another user’s account, private watchlist, restricted information, or administrative functions without authorisation.
  • Bypass verification, security controls, access restrictions, or usage limits.
  • Scrape, harvest, or access the Service in bulk through automated means without my written permission.
  • Disrupt the Service, introduce malicious software, or interfere with its infrastructure.
  • Redistribute restricted market data or other content contrary to these Terms or applicable third-party licences.
  • Present the Service’s automated outputs as guaranteed results or personalised professional advice.

6. Content and third-party services

The Service’s software, design, branding, and original content belong to me or my licensors. Market data, news, filings, and other third-party material remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licences.

You may use the Service for your own lawful research and study, subject to these Terms. Access does not grant ownership of its content or permission to commercially redistribute it.

The Service may rely on external providers for market data, AI processing, email delivery, security, and other functions. Their availability and practices may affect the Service. External websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Usage limits and availability

I may impose limits on research generation, backtesting, strategy simulations, and other features to manage capacity, cost, and abuse.

I may update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. I do not guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous availability, or that particular information will remain available indefinitely.

Any future paid service will be subject to pricing, billing, cancellation, and refund terms disclosed before purchase.

8. Suspension and account closure

I may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, security risks, legal obligations, or data licensing restrictions.

Where appropriate, I will explain the reason and provide a way to contact me. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account closure at johnad93722@gmail.com.

Account closure and personal information requests are handled as described in my Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties concerning accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for investment or trading losses, lost profits, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you.

10. Privacy

My Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information. Please read it before creating an account.

Accepting these Terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing or other processing that requires separate consent.

11. Changes to these Terms

I may update these Terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. I will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes through the Service or email where appropriate.

Where required by law, I will obtain your agreement before changes take effect.
